Students...start your bicycles! Carbon emissions make a big impact on our environment. In the United States, the average American is responsible for 50,000 lbs. of CO2 each year from electricity use, heating, car, air travel, and our consumption including the energy needed to make our food, clothes, roads, iPods, etc. This is about 140 pounds for every person, every day.
